Registration & Cost
Please register via the online registration system if you are interested in participating in the 3rd International Symposium on Rankings. There are a limited number of places (200) available, so please register early.
- Cost
- The cost of the symposium is € 350 and includes:
- Participation in the symposium
- Full catering (coffee/tea/lunch)
- Luxurious dinner at a Leiden venue
- Transport (to and from symposium venue/hotel and dinner)
- Symposium folder
- Registration/administration costs
Student fee
Students are offered a discounted rate of € 200 which includes all items listed apart from the dinner. This fee is available for students who are currently registered at an educational institution and who would like to participate in the symposium to benefit their education.
If you would like to apply for this rate, please contact Ms. Simone Wolff at the Events Office of Leiden University (contact details are given below).
The maximum number of student participants is 20.
- Registration deadline
- The deadline for registration is 25 January 2009. There are a limited number of places available (200). An announcement will be made on the website if the maximum number has been reached before 25 January.
If you are registering after the deadline, please send an email to rankings@io.leidenuniv.nl to check the availability of places. If places are still available, we will inform you how to register. In the event that there are no places left, we can placed you on a waiting list.
- How to register
- Leiden University has made registration and payment as easy as possible. You can register and pay via an online system. (This page may open in Dutch. Click on the British flag in the lower left corner to access the English site.) This system will lead you through all the steps of the procedure, from entering your personal details to a confirmation of your registration and payment receipt. Additional step-by-step instructions are given below to assist you with the application form.
Ad1:
Select your ticket of choice. Our registration system only allows you to purchase one ticket at a time. If you want to register for one day please contact Ms. Simone Wolff.
Ad2:
Click on ‘register’ and fill in your personal information. If you are ordering tickets for someone else, please provide the information for the person actually attending the conference.
Please also provide any titles you might have under the heading ‘function’.
Ad3:
Check and confirm your personal information. Leiden University will pay transaction fees and credit card surcharges.
Ad4:
Choose your preferred method of payment. You will be linked to an external site for completing the selected payment option.
Payment methods include:- Credit card payment (Visa, Mastercard, ….)
- Online (international) bank transfer
- IDeal payments (for Dutch particpants only)
- Student fee registrations
- Participants wishing to register for the student fee of € 200 are required to submit a copy of their university registration or ID card to the Events Office. This can be done either before registering or after. If registration is applied for at the student rate and university registration as a student cannot be proven, access to the symposium may be denied.
